Finding the right fit in a consultant is critically important. You need someone who will make your life easier.

I am passionate about the public service. Since my first government job as an administrative assistant in 2008, I have sought out many different roles and moved around business areas to keep myself flexible and always learning. My experience includes:

  • Working in Federal, Provincial, and Local governments

  • Leading consultations with Indigenous peoples across BC

  • Being a statutory decision maker, with legal authority to issue permits under the Water Act, Forest Act, Land Act, and other pieces of legislation

  • Having one of my statutory decisions taken to a tribunal, where it was upheld

  • Managing a team of 10 staff spread across 4 offices in BC

  • Managing many projects from start to finish

  • Moderating many public meetings

  • Serving on the boards of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada and the International Association for Public Participation (BC Chapters).

As a consultant, I focus on establishing trust and understanding your organization. I am skilled at asking the right questions and getting a quick picture of what you need.

I hold a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria. A detailed CV is available on LinkedIn.
